Cruisin' Red Bull
Garage Headquarters: Hanover, NH
Driver: Yoon-ki Park
Mechanics: Kyle Sherry, Trey Roy, Ray Diciaccio, David Lindberg
Nuts and Bolts:
Dartmouth has graduated six Pulitzer Prize winners, three Nobel Peace Prize Laureates and Dr. Seuss. These celebrated alumni set a high standard for students currently enrolled in the prestigious school. Kyle Sherry, Yoon-Ki Park, Trey Roy, David Lindberg and Ray DiCiaccio -- all Dartmouth seniors -- have started working to establish themselves alongside their more illustrious Big Green counterparts.
Captain Yoon-Ki informs us that “Trey once ate seven glue sticks in one sitting.” Take that, Robert Frost! And did former Surgeon General C. Everett Koop ever eat a hamburger … in Hamburg? Well, Kyle and Ray did just that while traveling in Germany earlier this summer. Cruisin’ Red Bull’s pursuits extend beyond what they can manage to cram into their mouths, however. Yoon-Ki says that he has “spent time building legit racing cars for the Dartmouth Formula Racing Team,” and Trey and Kyle competed in Red Bull Soapbox Providence 2007.
Yoon-Ki describes the team’s in-progress skit: “Two adjacent arcade consoles will be the scene of hot head-to-head video-game racing with two players in full racing attire. The two seem to be neck-and-neck, when one arcade console suddenly breaks away and starts the race.” If that runaway racer gets down Mount Adams quickly enough, Dartmouth will have five more of its own to count among the best of the best.
