First Step - select a team:

Team Taco Bull

Garage Headquarters: La Salle, Ontario, Canada

Driver: Greg Martin

Mechanics: Rolf Neumann, Ken Bower, Ryan Martin, Paul Atherton

Nuts and Bolts:

Canadians. They come down here; they take our Red Bull Soapbox qualifying entries; and when it’s all said and done, these north-of-the-border interlopers just might leave as champions. Veterans of Red Bull Soapbox St. Louis 2006, captain Greg “Crunchy” Martin and company aren’t making the haul from Ontario to Cincinnati just for the superior beer. Greg, Rolf “Beefy” Neumann, Ryan “Spicy” Martin, Paul “Chewy” Atherton and Ken “Cheesy” Bower mean business. Four of the teammates hold memberships with the Homebuilt Soapbox Racing Association, and the squad includes two metal fabricators. In short, you can expect Team Taco Bull to arrive in Cincinnati backed by years of solid soapbox experience and a professionally constructed racer.

Besides possessing an edge in racer-building technique and Red Bull Soapbox chops, Team Taco Bull also boasts the perseverance of a latter-day Sir Isaac Brock. “We are very excited to be participating in this event,” Greg tells us. “We applied with nine different sketches.” Having finally settled on a tribute to one of Mexico’s greatest exports, this group of Canucks will venture to the States to emphatically unify North American culture. If they live up to their resumes, they might achieve Red Bull Soapbox immortality in the process.
